Today, I’m excited to share an inside look at LoveGodandOthers.com, where we talk with its creator, Natalie, about her mission, vision, and what inspired her to launch this exciting platform for new believers and anyone looking to spread love and kindness in their lives.
Q: How would you describe the tone and feel of your blog?
Natalie: I want the tone of my blog to feel conversational and inspirational, almost like you're having a chat with an uplifting friend. I hope my readers leave each post feeling encouraged and ready to make simple but meaningful changes in their lives.
Q: Who do you imagine your audience to be?
Natalie: I picture my audience as newer believers—maybe even those who are a bit skeptical or hesitant to fully dive in. I’m creating resources for people to use at home, especially if they're nervous about joining a local church or Christian community. But my content is really for anyone, believer or not, who wants to spread love and kindness. I know people today are so busy, so I want my posts to help them simplify their lives in a way that feels manageable and enriching.
Q: How has your own life experience shaped your content?
Natalie: As a busy mom, I completely understand that overwhelmed feeling of having too much on your plate. I also know the tension of wanting to be the compassionate friend who brings dinner to someone in need, while struggling to just get dinner on your own table! That’s why I focus on ideas that make living out your faith or showing kindness easier and less overwhelming.
Q: What impact do you hope your blog has on readers?
Natalie: My hope is that readers find something they can use right away or feel inspired to create a system that works for them, based on an idea I share. I want people to know they can make my content their own and apply it in ways that fit their lives. Most importantly, I want to help bring people closer to God and give them ideas for loving others well without feeling overwhelmed. I want them to see the peace that comes from the Lord and realize life doesn’t have to be as fast-paced or chaotic as it often seems.
Q: How do you incorporate scripture into your writing?
Natalie: I love referring to scripture, but I know it can feel intimidating to newer believers. So, I won’t include it in every post, but I’ll be sure to share it when it’s really relevant to the message. I’ll always make sure it’s approachable for readers who might not be as familiar with it.
Q: What’s one of your favorite Bible verses, and why does it resonate with you?
Natalie: One of my favorite Bible verses is Matthew 22:37-40, where Jesus sums up the greatest commandments: Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. This verse resonates with me because it gets to the heart of what faith is really about—loving God and loving others. It’s so simple, yet so profound. Everything else flows from these two things. It’s a verse that guides me in both my personal life and in how I approach my blog. I want to help others live out these commandments in a way that feels authentic to them.
Q:What advice would you give to someone who is new to faith or hesitant to join a church community?
Natalie: I would say that your journey with God is personal, and it’s okay to take it at your own pace. Don’t feel pressured to have everything figured out right away or to fit into a certain mold. If the idea of joining a traditional church feels intimidating, that’s okay. There are so many ways to connect with God and grow in your faith—whether it’s through reading the Bible at home, listening to a podcast, or simply spending time in prayer. It’s also important to remember that faith isn’t about perfection; it’s about progress. It’s okay to have questions and doubts, and it’s okay to grow at your own speed. If you’re looking for community, try to find a space where you feel comfortable and can be yourself. Whether it’s a small group, an online community, or even a few friends, finding people who encourage you in your faith can make a big difference.
It’s clear that Natalie's passion for making faith and kindness accessible is truly impacting others.
